Aims to meet the needs of special students who are already engaged in gainful employment but still require the exigency to finish their undergraduate degrees. Section 2. Declaration of Policy, Republic Act (R.A.) No. 7722, otherwise known as the Higher Education Act of 1994 under which the PACE program derives its mandate, states in part:

The State shall protect, foster and promote the right of all citizens to affordable quality education at all levels and shall take appropriate steps to ensure the education shall be accessible to all”

The PACE program addresses the above needs of the special students as it attempts to enforce a right by overcoming the “barriers that result from geographical isolation, personal or work commitments or conventional course structures.” (PACE Student Handbook, 2014)

The provisions of the PACE Student handbook serve as guidelines  are binding upon the entire staffing and academic structure of the Philippine Christian University. The policies contained therein are executed for the purpose of securing the objectives of implementing  the same and for no other purpose and that the same are legal and valid obligation.

PACE is a highly individualized program. It adopts a system of blended face to face (F2F) learning and gradually expose the learner to a flexible online learning environment.
