We, at the Human Resource Development Office, are committed to:

Policies

To move toward service beyond expectations, the Personnel/HRD Department will be guided with the following objectives:

  1. To recruit and hire the most qualified persons to be part of the workforce.
  2. To provide all employees the skills and training they need to enhance job performance.
  3. To employ the latest technology to assist the Department in functioning competitively in consonance with the demands of the modern times.
  4. To ensure that all economic benefits provided by law are enjoyed by all employees.
  5. To inculcate in all employees the Vision, Mission and Goals of the University.

 

 

Objectives

With the quality policies serving as our guide, the Personnel/HRD Department will endeavour to:

  1. Follow strictly the recruitment, screening and hiring process to ensure that only the most qualified belong to the workforce.
    1. Ensure that 100% of all Faculty members, full-time or part-time have, at the very least, the necessary qualifications to teach as provided by the Commission on Higher Education.

  1. Facilitate seminars/workshops, whether in-house or seminars outside, in collaboration with the Faculty and Staff Development Committee; utilizing all available Training Needs Assessment data, seeking to meet at least three (3) training needs of every employee within each merit evaluation period (every three years).
    1. Consult with all departments/offices in devising ways by which to improve work performance for a Very Satisfactory grade, at the very least.

  1. Maximize the use of the Human Resource Information System:
    1. 90% of our customers are at least Satisfied in the Timeliness of the services we provide;

  1. Work hand-in-hand with all the Unions:
    1. Ensure that all rights of the employees are protected, 100% at all times;
    2. Ensure that all benefits provided by law, including those that are provided in the Collective Bargaining Agreements are 100% given.

  1. Ensure that all employees have read or have been lectured about the Vision, Mission and Goals of the University:
    1. Through a series of orientation lecture-seminars, 100% of the incumbent employees have gone through orientation lectures and seminars on the vision and mission of the University,

ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE FOR RETURNEE STUDENTS:

Step 1: Statement of Account (SOA) Issuance
                     Responsible Office: Accounting Office

Procedure:

Verify that the student has no outstanding balance from the previous semester.
*Students with no financial obligations will be allowed to enroll for the upcoming semester.

Step 2: Payment of Fees
                      Responsible Office: Treasury Office

Procedure:
Settle the required payment, either through a down payment or full payment for the incoming semester.
Official receipts will be issued upon confirmation of payment.

Step 3: Subject Encoding (Pre-Registration)
                      Responsible Office: College Department

Procedure:
Consult with the department for course advisement to determine the subjects to be taken.
The advised subjects will then be encoded by the department for pre-registration.

Step 4: Enrollment Validation / SOA Re-Issuance
                      Responsible Office: Accounting Office

Procedure:
Submit the Pre-Registration Form provided by the department.
The Accounting Office will validate the form and re-issue the Statement of Account as part of enrollment confirmation.

Step 5: Certificate of Registration (COR) Issuance
                      Responsible Office: Registrar’s Office

Procedure:
Present the validated registration documents to the Registrar.
The Certificate of Registration (COR) will be issued, signifying official enrollment.

Step 6: ID Validation
                  Responsible Office: ICTC (Information and Communications Technology Center)

Procedure:
Present the Certificate of Registration (COR) to the ICTC staff for ID validation.
