Reaping the Sweetest Fruits of the Lord’s Vineyard
It is indeed a humbling moment for PCU to Bless, Dedicate and Inaugurate the Science and Technology Building last July 1, 2022. The liturgical program was held at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the Science and Technology Building.
The new building has 7 floors and for the convenience of both the students and staff, there are two (2) elevators that can be used going up the building.
It has not been a plain sailing over the planning, but never has landfall or safe harbor looked more enticing and exciting. The ceremony was a tangible reminder of our mission of becoming the best version of ourselves as we move on, with integrity and responsibility at the core.
Reaching this kind of a major milestone can be achieved through an incredible teamwork. PCU is privileged to work alongside some of the best in building construction, and the dedication and commitment of our President, the Board of Trustees and the Administrators to get the Science and Technology Building ready for today. We are truly blessed that these people have the great sense of envisioning not what tomorrow holds or even what next year holds for our school, but, entrusted with directing the future of Philippine Christian University.
It is with great pride that PCU holds its strong belief in “being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ.” – Philippians 1:6 and “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” – Matthew 7: 24-27
This edifice is precisely built to strengthen the rudiments of our educational commitment, our humble commitment to building a nation anchored on a deep sense of prudence and wisdom.
