Philippine Christian University Manila Senior High School Holds 100th Commencement Exercises

Philippine Christian University (PCU) Manila Senior High School successfully held its 100th Commencement Exercises on March 25, 2026, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s long-standing tradition of academic excellence and commitment to holistic education.

The momentous event celebrated the achievements of the graduating class, recognizing their hard work, perseverance, and dedication throughout their academic journey. It also highlighted the invaluable support of parents, faculty members, and the entire PCU community in guiding the students toward success.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of Rhodora Angela Fernandez-Ferrer, PhD, Executive Director of the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC), who served as the Guest Speaker. In her commencement address, Dr. Ferrer emphasized the importance of resilience, integrity, and lifelong learning as the graduates prepare to face the challenges of higher education and the professional world.

The 100th commencement not only commemorates the accomplishments of the Class of 2026 but also reflects PCU Manila’s enduring legacy of providing quality education grounded in Christian values. As the institution continues to uphold its mission, it remains steadfast in developing globally competitive graduates equipped with knowledge, skills, and strong moral foundations.

Philippine Christian University Manila takes pride in this historic celebration and looks forward to the continued success of its graduates as they contribute meaningfully to society.

PCU MANILA SHS GRADE 11 GRAND SALUBONG 2024 Day 1

ICYMI | On July 22, 2024, the Philippine Christian University Senior High School Manila commenced its annual Grand Salubong to welcome the Grade 11 students from the Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) strand.
 
Students gathered at the Science and Technology Building as the welcoming orientation began with an insightful campus tour. Afterwards, the students proceeded to the Union High School of Manila’s gymnasium for activities.
 
Ms. Valerie Kaye Yabut and Mr. Kevin Miranda led as the session’s Masters of Ceremonies. The event commenced with enthusiastic cheers from various sections, demonstrating the signature chant, “Ahon, ABM.”
 
Afterwards, Rev. Ricardo Bernardino, the University Chaplain, led the opening prayer, followed by the singing of the National Anthem.
Mrs. Rodina Autencio, the SHS Principal, addressed the significance of PCU’s core values— Faith, Character, and Service— in her welcoming remarks.
 
Ms. Yabut and Mr. Miranda then introduced the newly appointed coordinators, highlighting their achievements and roles within PCU. It thereby promoted a warm and inclusive atmosphere for their induction.
 
Subsequently, a game titled “Last Man Standing,” facilitated by Ms. Franzhesca Bulan, the Supreme Student Government (SSG) Deputy Officer, and Mr. Kimi De La Cruz, the SSG’s Public Information Officer, engaged all students to participate.
This was followed by an energetic Zumba session featuring BINI’s hit song “Pantropiko.”
 
Meanwhile, Layag Films Productions showcased a video presentation to promote the campus activities, while the Commission on Student Elections announced opportunities for Grade 11 students to join the Supreme Student Government in the forthcoming Election Season.
 
Thereafter, Mrs. Karla Galman, the ABM Coordinator, closed the event by encouraging students to actively participate in campus life. Soon after, the students came together with devotion as Mr. Lorence Castro, the SSG ABM Representative, led the closing prayer.
 
The day ended with the students singing the PCU hymn, symbolizing their dedication to PCU’s core values. As the University prepares for the upcoming academic year, it remains committed to holistic student development and academic performance.
